There are many cultures in the world. There is no one system that can explain them all. Just as there are many cultures in the world, there are also many subcultures that are unrelated to any culture at all. This is one of the biggest challenges that any nation faces when it wants to adopt a new way of life. The start of the “two cultures” movement in Bengal was the result of this challenge. It brought together people from diverse cultures and offered a new way of life. While the original movement was at the religious level, the ideas and spirit behind modern-day Bengal’s culture are similar to those of Hinduism and Islam.
